InstaDown for Instagram App Reviews

There’s nothing I hate more than giving a company my money for a product that doesn’t work with now way of getting a refund. This app DOES NOT WORK! Do not buy it under any circumstances. When you log in using your Instagram ID You receive the error message: "{"code": 403, "error_type": "OAuthForbiddenException", "error_message": "You are not a sandbox user of this client”} No help documents provided. Nothing on Manufacturers website. Google yielded no help at all. No refunds available to my knowledge through iTunes or Apple. It’s not expensive but that is not the point!

simple and easy hope have more function… like just donwload pic or video or pic+video

I wrote a review about this very problem on June 3, 2016 and Apple refused to post it. Not only that Apple has not taken down the app and are at this point selling a product THAT WILL NOT WORK. They are making false claims. Instagram changed the way it handles outside party apps and if the app did not meet certain requirements would cease to work as of June 1, 2016. I TOLD YOU THIS APPLE AND YOU HAVE TOTALLY DISREGARDED MY EMAIL. I wrote to the developer and received no response. Buy it if you feel you must, but you are wasting your money.

I can’t run this App, I don’t understand!! please help

Simple, fast and without any hassles.

The application runs smoothly. Incremental backups will take a long time (it will have to search all the photos again). The biggest issue is that the photos do not contain the metadata from Instagram. You will loose all locations, dates and order. THE PHOTOS CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ICLOUD OR TO IPHOTO OR PHOTOS APPLICATION, due to the metadata missing. Please fix this issue and add a “Incremental backup” option. Doing that it will be the best app for instagram download.

I like this app, but do not like that it saves my pics out of order with it’s unique filenames.

This application wont even open. Not even for a second. I have yet to see the inside of the this app because every time I click it, the icon bounces, and a giant error screen takes over my monitor. The error window is called "Problem Report for InstaDown" and the first line in bold says "InstaDown quit unexpectedly. Super. Thanks for the 40% off. Im wondering if I can get a refund? Or is my $2.99 gone? Please fix this app. Im married to a coder. I know how important these star-ratings are. If/When this app is fixed I WILL revisit and give an appropriate rating. Works perfectly! Did exactly what it was supposed to do with a super simple, straight to the point interface. Just had to sign in, type in my search term and click download, was able to download my 1600 photos in less than 5 minutes!

Wont open on my iMac. Click on Logo, and I repeatedly get the error message" Instadown Quit Unexpectedly". Applying for a refund.

I also downloaded this Ap and will not open. I also get a warning and the application quits unexpectedly. Would live to have the functionality corrected!

Pretty much takes your login info and then does… NOTHING. Doesn’t download photos at all. Always some type of error.

Downloaded instanly all photos from an instagram user. Worked flawlessly on my 6 year old iMac.

It get’s stuck while “starting” and doens’t go anywhere.

It’s a rip-off, as far as I am concerned. I paid for the app, and I am not willing to give an unknown third party access to my friends list, photos, etc just so I can use what I already paid for. The app may work just fine, but not at that price!
